The current study aimed to reveal the role of transformational leadership in activating knowledge management for the performance of secondary school principals in Wasit Governorate, and was adopted in the descriptive and analytical research The research population reached (200) principals in secondary schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Wasit Governorate. The research sample was randomly selected and the number of sample members reached (135) school principals. A questionnaire was adopted that included (39) paragraphs of transformational leadership and a questionnaire for knowledge management that consisted of (17) items, and the researcher made sure of their validity and consistency. The results of the research data were analyzed using the (SPSS) program, and the researcher came up with several conclusions, including the presence of a significant impact of transformational leadership on the performance of secondary school principals in Wasit Governorate, as well as the existence of an impact of knowledge management on the performance of school principals and the presence of an impact of transformational leadership on the performance of school principals Through knowledge management and based on the research findings, several recommendations were formulated.
