the current research aims to identify the effectiveness of a training program for developing social skills and its effect in reducing social withdrawal among students with learning difficulties. To achieve this goal, the quasi-experimental approach was used, and a sample of (12) students with learning difficulties who had weak social skills were obtained, and they were divided into two equal groups: (experimental n = 6 and control n = 6), and verifying the equivalence of the two groups. In both age, intelligence, social skills, and social withdrawal, the research tools were a measure of social skills, a measure of social withdrawal and building a training program. The results were there are a statistically significant differences between the two groups (experimental and control) in the post measurement of the dimensions of the scale of social skills and the total score in favor of the experimental group, there are a statistically significant differences between the two groups (experimental and control) in the post-measurement of the dimensions of the social withdrawal scale and the total score in terms of reduced symptoms of social withdrawal in favor of the experimental group, also there are a statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of the experimental group for the dimensions of the social skills scale and the total score In favor of the post measurement, there are a statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements for the experimental group of the dimensions of the social withdrawal scale and the total score in favor of the post measurement, there are no statistically significant differences between the post and follow up measures in dimension and total score of the experimental group of the social skills scale, and there are no statistically significant differences between the post and follow up measures of the experimental group for the dimensions of the social withdrawal scale and the total score. The research recommended some research recommendations and proposal.
