This research revolves around children’s literature: its concept, its upbringing, its development and the artistic forms through which the written story is presented to the child, then an applied study of the structure of narration in the stories of Adel Al-Ghadban. Its objectives, questions, terminology, limits, and approach.
Then I presented a preface in which I presented the concept of children’s literature, which is: a form of literary expression that has its rules and methods, whether related to its language and its compatibility with the child’s dictionary, and with the stylistic outcome and the age for which it is composed, or what is related to its content and relevance to each stage of childhood. Then the preface talked about the importance of children’s literature, as it plays a major role in a child’s life, instilling in it educational, ideological, educational, recreational, artistic, social, national and linguistic values. The preface then mentioned the two types of children’s literature: oral and written, as noted in Introduction The stages of the emergence and development of children's literature, it has gone through multiple stages, it began to be influenced by Western literature in general and the tales of La Fontaine in particular, and moved from translation and Arabization to imitation, then entered the stage of maturity, and finally the spread that children's magazines helped achieve, and finally the introduction provided an introduction to the writer Adel Ghadban.
Then two sections: in the first of them I stopped at the artistic forms of the story in children’s literature, including: the story on the tongue of birds and animals, stories of magic and fairies, folk stories, stories of legends and myths, science fiction stories, adventure stories and puzzles, police stories, and the realistic story, and Religious, and the story of the script.
As for the second topic, in which I presented a study of the structure of narration in the stories of Adel Al-Ghadban, which revealed the artistic form of his stories written for children, where magic and fairies play a major role in events. The narration, and controlling the fates of the characters in the stories of Adel Al-Ghadban, then I presented a brief study of the structure of the story and the structure of the saying in the stories of Adel Al-Ghadban, which revealed a great deal of artistry, excitement and suspense in the stories of Adel Al-Ghadban.
