This research is concerned with studying the aesthetics of the place in the narrative construction through the story of the writer Yahya Haqqi "Qandil Umm Hashem". The dramatic work of the literary work, so that we can notice that some modern novels have relied on the place as the starting point for their events, so the place has taken on the role of the real heroism of the literary work.
The research follows the aesthetics of (place) in the story (Qandil Umm Hashem) through three sections:
The first of these sections is entitled: The place between realism and the novelist, in which we grasp the concept of place, the difference between real and fictional place, the influence of fictional place on events and characters, and the concept of spacetime.
The second came under the title: Yahya Haqqi and the Qandil / An Overview, in which I dealt with the story of "The Lamp of Umm Hashem" with a presentation of its artistic aspects, characters, and elements of its artistic construction.
And I ended with the third topic: which dealt with the aesthetics of the place in the story of "Qandil" Umm Hashem, and to what extent the place had an impact on the events and characters.
The research ends with the monitoring of its findings.
