Kings and ministers had a great contribution to enriching the literary life in the Abbasid era. Their councils were like literary seminars because of the debates and arguments taking place in them. In addition to the temptation that these kings and ministers used to tempt poets to organize on certain subjects; Poets compete in the systems to prove their worth and artistic prowess.
The Sahib bin Abbad council was one of the most important literary councils of his time. It included a large number of distinguished writers and poets, and the Sahib tempted them to organize in his presence.
This study has been based on one of the topics that the Sahib called poets of His Holiness to compose in it, which is (Al-Bardhawniyat) which the poets organized in Lamenting Barthun Abi Issa bin Al-Manajm.
This study aimed to analyze the structure of the poetic language in the poems of the Bardhonites. To find out the most important technical techniques used by these poets in linguistic expression, and to try to feel the aspects of agreement and disagreement between them, and to clarify their artistic ability to use their linguistic potential; Be it styles, artistic images, or rhythm.
