The aim of this research is to reveal the level of job satisfaction among some academic advisors in higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait, with determining the extent to which this level is statistically significant in the light of some personal variables of the participants. The researcher used the survey descriptive research method using the questionnaire, and the research sample included (87) academic advisors from the administrators and faculty members who are in charge of academic advising in some institutions of higher education in the State of Kuwait from public and private universities, and to collect data, the researcher prepared a questionnaire tool based on a review of previous studies and it was verified From its validity and stability on a sample of non-participants in the main sample, it included six areas of job satisfaction, and the questionnaire was applied through the Google Forms platform and for data analysis, descriptive statistics methods were used (means, standard deviations, percentages and frequencies, relative weight, and ranks), Inferential statistics methods (T-test for the significance of differences between the means of two independent samples, and one-way analysis of variance). The results of the research showed that there is an overall "average" level of job satisfaction among academic advisors; The general average of the questionnaire was (2.84), with a relative weight of (57%). The two highest domains of satisfaction were: salary and incentives, and management; The two lowest domains were social esteem and status, growth satisfaction and promotion opportunities. The results of the research also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of job satisfaction as a total score and as sub-domains according to the personal variables of the participants (gender - number of years of experience in academic advising - type of higher education institution - nature of work). In the light of these results, the researcher recommended the need to define a clear job ladder for advancement in the academic advising profession in Kuwaiti higher education institutions. He also proposed a set of research, including a study of the impact of some factors and variables on the level of job satisfaction among academic advisors in higher education institutions, such as psychological stress and leadership style.
