Arabic “outperforms all other languages in splendor, and the tongue fails to describe its virtues.” A word that did justice to Arabic on the tongue of Nalino came in the midst of several oriental studies in which non-Arabs made their point - with opinion, thought and meditation - in judging the civilization of Arabs and Islam. And because these oriental studies were issued by a different culture and a different intellectual framework, they had a prestige and importance that required contemplation and reading over and over again. Because - and we are in that case - we are reviewing our postulates and starting points from an external review.
Perhaps one of the most important Western scholars and scholars who had opinions and visions in researching and studying Arabic; Dr. Susan Stetkevich, who saw in the phenomenon of Badi' a new artistic formation, moves away from being a Badi' improver of the text, and approaches the principles of logic and Mu'tazili thought. This formed the new poetic image, as we see clearly in Abu Tammam, who was able to move out of the stage of imitation into the stage of creativity and innovation, and the search for new poetic frameworks that fit his free and creative poetry, which does not care about the restrictions of established poetic traditions; Which sparked a great critical debate among scholars about his poetic and innovative doctrine.
The Arabized woman tried to present a new interpretation of the poetic achievement of Abu Tammam, as a model that was able to absorb the codes of ancient Arabic poetry, and mix it with a new code that reflects the lives of civilized people, and at the same time absorbs the contemporary Arab-Islamic experience.
This view contradicted the view of some modern Arab critics of Abi Tammam's poetry, in which he rebelled against the structure and composition of poetry, which led to the exploitation of some of its meanings and images, and its cost in its systems. An example of these critics is Muhammad Mandour, who agreed with Ibn al-Mu'tazz and al-Amidi in their view of Abu Tammam's doctrine, that it always ends with affectation, exaggeration, and corruption. For the strength of his doctrine over his nature, the abundance of his work, and the corruption of his taste. Although his hair is not without beautiful and wonderful sometimes.
And based on the foregoing, the idea of the research came, which relies on the comparative thought between the Arab approach and the Western approach in the view of Badi Abi Tammam and his industry, and to track how each of these two parties studied this issue from its critical point, and trying to reach objective logical results revealing the phenomenon of Badi, And my father's hair dye is perfect with it. Then the investigations of this study were divided into two parts preceded by an introduction. The first of them relates to the comparative theoretical aspect. It follows the opinions of Muhammad Mandour and Ihsan Abbas on the methodology of Al-Badi' in Abi Tammam's poetry, in contrast to the opinions of Dr. Susan on the same issue. This first section is followed by a second, applied section, in which the research seeks to analyze a number of testimonies of Abi Tammam's poetry. Muhammad Mandour, Ihsan Abbas, and Dr. Susan agreed on her study, with a final comment about it at the end.
