Proceeding from the fact that the development of human capabilities is the way to achieve progress and its tool, and its goal at the same time; Considering that the human element is one of the most important factors in achieving progress and social and economic development and is the ultimate beneficiary of this progress, the current study aimed to present a proposed vision to support the competitiveness of Umm Al-Qura University graduates in light of the human capacity development program to build their competitive position locally and globally. The study adopted the descriptive approach.
The results of the study developed a proposed vision to support the competitiveness of Umm Al-Qura University graduates in light of the human capacity development program, which included defining the goal of the proposed vision, the sources of its formulation, its premises and characteristics, its possibilities and dimensions, the requirements for implementing the proposed vision, its obstacles and ways to overcome them and finally, indicators of success of the proposed vision. The proposed vision also included defining the necessary mechanisms to achieve each of its four dimensions: improving the readiness of Umm Al-Qura University graduates for the rapidly and ever-changing labor market requirements, promoting and supporting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among Umm Al-Qura University students and graduates, and developing partnerships between Umm Al-Qura University and leading world-class universities, and ensuring compatibility between Umm Al-Qura University graduates and the needs of the labor market locally and internationally.
