The current study aimed to investigate the effect of using Social Networks (represented by Telegram) on improving English language vocabulary achievement of Secondary third grade female students in Riyadh city, and to investigate if there were statistically significant differences between the control and experimental group achievement mean at the levels (Knowledge, understanding, and applying) and in the achievement test in whole. A quasi- experimental design was used. The study sample consisted of (67) Secondary third grade female students who were allocated into two groups; the experimental group including (35 students) who studied vocabulary using Telegram, and the control group (32 students) who studied using traditional method. A 20 items researcher developed, and validated achievement test was used to collect achievement data through MCQ, matching and completion questions. Results revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and the control group achievement mean favor of the experimental group, who had used the Telegram, in the three designated achievement levels (Knowledge, understanding, and applying) and in the achievement test in whole. Recommendations and suggested future studies were offered according to the results.
