The study aims, by tracing the places mentioned in the "Night Meeting" diwan, to track the clarity and subtlety of their connotations, and to show the specific and general significance of their content and functional connotations. The study consists of: a theoretical part, consisting of an introduction that shows the importance of studying the place as a critical axis, then an introductory pause with the poet Mahmoud Fadil Al-Tal, followed by an introduction to the study axis (Diwan of the Night Meeting), then a pause on the relationship of the place with poetry, the poet, and the recipient.
The second part: applied, in which we talk about the word "homeland" and its pivots, and it consists of:
The homeland and its reflections (the homeland - Jordan), (the homeland - Palestine and Jerusalem) and (the homeland - Arabism), The generality of the word (place) and its specificity, so we find it related to his romantic experience, and sometimes it serves the idea of redemption and heroism, and its fluctuations between the clarity of its connotation and its deviation to other than that in the context of talking about it.
Then we conclude the study with results that are monitored, accessed and recommended.
