This study aimed to develop graphic design skills among university-level graphic design students by using the YouTube platform, and to demonstrate its effectiveness in achieving this goal. The study adopted the experimental method, using two tools: a theoretical skills test to assess the theoretical aspect of graphic design skills, and a practical performance evaluation card to assess the practical aspect. The study was conducted on a sample consisting of 22 students, divided into two groups: 12 students in the experimental group and 10 students in the control group. The results showed that the level of possession of graphic design skills among both control and experimental groups was average before the use of YouTube platform. Furthermore, there were no differences in the level of possession of graphic design skills between the control and experimental groups before using the YouTube platform. However, the results indicated that the level of possession of graphic design skills among the experimental group increased significantly after the use of the YouTube platform. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences in the level of possession of graphic design skills between the control and experimental groups after using the YouTube platform, in favor of the experimental group, which indicates the effectiveness of using the YouTube platform in developing graphic design skills among the experimental group in both the theoretical and practical aspects.
