The current study aimed to reveal the effect of different types of electronic interaction (synchronous and asynchronous) based on learning anchors in developing the skills of employing digital resources. The study used the descriptive approach as well as the semi-experimental approach. Learning anchors The researcher used the ADDIE design model, and prepared a list of skills needed for learners. The study sample consisted of (70) students who were divided and randomly allocated into two experimental groups, where the first experimental group studied with the simultaneous interaction pattern based on learning anchors, while the second experimental group studied with the interaction pattern. Asynchronous based on learning anchors, and this required the use of two tools (a knowledge test related to the skills of employing digital resources, and a note card for the practical performance of skills). The two study tools were applied before and after on the two study groups. There is an effect of the different types of electronic interaction (synchronous and asynchronous) based on learning anchors in developing the skills of employing digital resources. Digital resources among students of the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Afif, and the results revealed the effect of a difference in the two types of electronic interaction (synchronous - asynchronous) based on learning anchors in the development of practical performance related to the skills of employing digital resources among students of the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Afif, and in the light of This study recommended the importance of learning anchors in university education
