The aim of this research was to investigate the degree of using cloud computing applications in teaching computer courses among secondary school teachers in Taif city and its obstacles. The researchers used a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. The research sample consisted of 194 male and female teachers who were randomly selected. The research tools consisted of a questionnaire to measure the degree of using cloud computing applications, and an interview card for computer teachers on the obstacles of using cloud computing applications in teaching computer courses. The research found that the degree of using cloud computing applications by computer teachers was moderate in lesson planning and evaluation, while the degree of usage was weak during lesson implementation. The research identified a list of obstacles, including weak internet network within schools, weak training programs related to cloud computing, lack of appropriate technical support, and outdated technology devices available in schools. The research recommended developing the technological infrastructure and providing internet access in secondary schools, providing training programs for teachers, and motivating students to use cloud computing applications.
