The aime of the research is to identify the impact of a development unit in social studies based on companionship education to develop some moral values and cognitive curiosity among second-year property school students. To achieve this goal, representing the method used (experimental with quasi-experimental design)and preparing a list of moral values, and rebuilding “Our Islamic Values and Good Citizens” unit in light of the pillars of companionship education, a teacher’s guide was prepared in light of the developed unit, and a activates brochure the student. Research tools were also prepared, which were (scales of moral values, curiosity, and inquisitiveness), and the unit was applied to complete recovery (60) A student from the second year of property school, divided into two groups, experimental and control. The results of the research indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the average scores of students in the experimental and control groups in the post-application of the scale of moral values and cognitive curiosity, in favor of the experimental group in the post-application, which indicates To the impact of the developed unit in developing moral values and cognitive curiosity, the research also recommended many recommendations, including the importance of companionship education in teaching social studies and its role in developing moral values and cognitive curiosity among students, and the necessity of including moral values and dimensions of cognitive curiosity in the social studies curricula in the middle school.
