The objective of the research titled "The educational image in the Umm Al-Qura series for teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers, from a pragmatic point of view." is to know the appropriateness of the images utilised in the Umm Al-Qura series to teach non-native speakers of Arabic, by established educational image criteria. It also aims to identify aspects of excellence and competence, as well as deficiencies, within the educational depictions portrayed in the aforementioned series. Moreover, this study aims to evaluate the suitability of educational images for Arabic language pragmatic through an analysis that considers artistic, cultural, educational, pragmatic, and ethical factors. The research employs a descriptive-evaluative methodology and asserts that the images within the Umm Al-Qura series predominantly adhere to established criteria and effectively fulfil their educational purpose. Nevertheless, it is advisable to address the irregularities that identified, as they constitute 18% of the images in this study, to improve their efficacy.
