The current study aimed to investigate the moral intelligence of university students who use social networking sites and its relationship to some of their demographic variables. The study sample included (351) male and female students (102 male, 249 female) from scientific and literary majors from the University of Tabuk. They were given a measure of moral intelligence, some demographic information, and information about social networking sites (preferred application on social networking sites, age of personal account, preferred time of use for communication, average daily communication). The results of the study indicated that the level of moral intelligence among students at the University of Tabuk who used social networking sites was generally high, as the general average of the scale reached 3.99 out of 5, with a percentage of 80%. 35.9% of the sample communicated from 1 to 3 hours daily, and 34.8% communicated from 4 to 7 hours daily. The results also indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship at some level between moral intelligence and the use of social networking sites among students at the University of Tabuk. There were no statistically significant differences between males and females in all dimensions of the moral intelligence scale (empathy, conscience, self-control, respect, tolerance, citizenship, justice) at a significance level of 0.01. Where the "t" values were not statistically significant in all dimensions. Also, there were no statistically significant differences between males and females in moral intelligence. No statistically significant differences emerged between literary and scientific disciplines in all dimensions of the moral intelligence scale (empathy, conscience, self-control, respect, tolerance, citizenship, justice).
