This research aims to reveal the requirements for applying realistic assessment strategies in Saudi universities and the mechanisms for achieving them. The study included a survey sample consisting of (35) university students, and the actual sample consisted of (70) university students in 2023, one of whom was chosen as an experimental group, numbering 35. students, and the control group consisted of 35 students. It was also reviewed what books and references could be obtained that dealt with the strategy of performance-based assessment in each of its aspects, observing the students and reporting on them in terms of the characteristics and their acquisition of this strategy during the period of the researcher’s work with the students. After that, the researcher transcribed the data he had collected. In the form of phrases and items, distributed into several groups, so that each group represents an aspect of the strategy.  Research results: There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the children of the experimental group and the average scores of the control group in the performance-based evaluation strategy.
