The study aimed to reveal the reality of using the cooperative learning strategy in teaching mathematics at the primary stage and ways to deepen it from the point of view of teachers. The descriptive approach was used, relying on a questionnaire to collect data. The study sample consisted of (48) male and female teachers teaching mathematics to the fourth grade in the basic stage in Public and private schools in Omdurman locality, Abu Saad sector. The study reached the following results: The mathematics teachers’ possession of the skills required to use the cooperative learning strategy in their teaching was high, and that mathematics teachers have positive attitudes towards using the cooperative learning strategy in their teaching, and that mathematics teachers use the cooperative learning strategy in teaching mathematics at the primary level to a high degree. The results also indicated that there was no Statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample due to variables of gender, qualification, or years of experience.
