This research aims to study the subject of "The Structural Displacement in the diwan of The Colored Smiles" of the poet Hassan Abdullah Al-Qurashi – a semantic linguistic study, as the synthetic displacement is one of the new mechanisms on which linguistic and critical studies are based, where displacement works to displace the rule and standard, and breach the structural structure required by the phenomenon of linguistic use, in order to highlight a new composition, produce a broader significance of the phrase, and show the features of the poetic text, and the poet's creative abilities.
The research is limited to the course of its discussion into two parts: the first part is a theoretical study, concerned with the concept of displacement and its nature in ancient and modern studies, and the relationship of structural displacement with semantics, and the second part is an applied study that stands on the poet's texts with analysis, description and study.
The structural displacement from the poet Al-Qurashi in his diwan "Colored Smiles" a distinct phenomenon, and he sought to master the construction of his poetic text, trying to investigate the spiritual side of the language, by taking the text out of the verbal and rigid organizational templates, so the patterns of synthetic displacement emerged at him, In: Orderly exchange, in introduction and delay, displacement of deletion, shift of speech in attention, objection structure, displacement of the wording, and displacement of conformity, the poet employed it to create a new form of text, as well as to urge the reader to search for meaning, and to bring the text out of the ordinary into an interactive state in which the horizon of expectations expands.
