This study aimed to determine the level of availability of technical, human, and administrative leadership skills among directors of gifted education departments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To achieve these objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was employed, and a questionnaire was constructed. It was administered to a study population consisting of 84 directors, with 80 supervisors and 200 gifted teachers selected randomly. The study results revealed the following: the weighted mean score for the availability of leadership skills among directors of gifted education departments and centers was 3.74, indicating a high level, with a standard deviation of 0.79. The prominent technical skills included knowledge of gifted teacher competencies, familiarity with methods of teaching thinking skills, knowledge of the nature of giftedness, familiarity with gifted education program evidence, and knowledge of research methods. Key human skills included fluency in speech, use of facial expressions and body language to enhance message impact on others, ability to perceive others' reactions to the messages, maintaining opinions when conflicting with others to avoid disputes, understanding human behavior, and linking incentives to performance while balancing the size of the incentive with the size of the performance.
