The study aimed to identify the responsibilities that the family undertakes in light of distance education. And to reveal the challenges facing the family in light of distance education and provide educational solutions that benefit the family to confront the problems of distance education from the point of view of parents of female students in public primary schools in the city of Riyadh. The study used the descriptive survey method to suit the nature and objectives of the study. The study population included all parents of female primary school students in public schools in the city of Riyadh, who numbered (193,550). A guardian, according to statistics from the Ministry of Education (Riyadh Education Department, 1440 AH). A cluster random sample was chosen, and the sample reached (285) parents. The study used the questionnaire, which is “a specific form of statements and questions aimed at collecting data from the study members. The most prominent findings of the study are: that the feelings of parents of female primary school students in schools Government responsibilities during distance education were high. The most prominent challenges facing parents in distance education is the increase in the costs of electronic devices. There are no statistically significant differences on the axis of family responsibilities during distance education, and the axis of educational solutions to confront the problems of distance education due to the variable (academic qualification). There are statistically significant differences on the challenges facing the family in distance education due to the variable (academic qualification).
