The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of generative learning in improving academic achievement and developing the attitude towards home economics among sixth grade female students in the State of Kuwait. The study sample consisted of (62) female students who were distributed into two groups, the first is an experimental group (32) students, and the second is a control group (30) students. The researchers prepared an achievement test in home economics in the unit (food and nutrition), and prepared a scale of attitude towards studying home economics. The results revealed the effectiveness of the generative learning model in developing academic achievement and developing the attitude of female students towards studying home economics with a very large impact. The study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: paying attention to adopting the generative learning strategy in teaching and training teachers and students to employ this strategy in the teaching process.
