The current study aimed to reveal the extent to which female middle school students were able to memorize the Holy Qur’an with the reading, semantic, and reflective skills to contemplate the Holy Qur’an. The study sample consisted of (104) female teachers of the Holy Qur’an in middle schools for memorizing the Holy Qur’an in the city of Riyadh. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the questionnaire as its tool. The results of the study revealed that the degree of female students’ ability to meditate on the Holy Qur’an was average. Reflective skills came in first place, followed by reading skills, then finally semantic skills as the least skills in terms of which female students were able to master them.
In light of the results of the study, it was recommended to prepare a guide for the teacher in which it explains the main and subsidiary skills for contemplating the Holy Qur’an, methods of teaching and imparting them to female learners, training them on them, developing methods for evaluating and interpreting the Holy Qur’an, and holding periodic seminars within the school and in activity classes.
