Abstract
The study aimed to detect the cultural change and its impact on the university community at Hail University (dress as a model), and to also to identify the affecting elements on the change in the culture of university dress for female students at Hail University attributed to the variable: (academic level, college, academic department).
For the purpose to accomplish the study objective, a questionnaire was prepared which included (23) paragraphs, as well as the study sample contained of (270) female university students from multiple colleges and from different levels of Hail University who were selected in a random sectors manner. The results concluded that the level of the role of cultural change and its impact on the university community at Hail University (dress as a model) was in high degree; The first section, which stipulates "Religious and cultural factors for changing university dress", obtained the highest arithmetic mean of (4.11), with a standard deviation of (0.78) and a high degree of agreement, while the second axis, which reads "Social factors for changing university dress", obtained the lowest arithmetic mean of (3.56), with a standard deviation of (0.89) and a high degree of agreement. The arithmetic means of the remaining paragraphs ranged between (4.17-4.82), and the general arithmetic mean of the axes was (3.80), and the general standard deviation was (0.78). The responses of the study sample members to the questionnaire paragraphs varied, as the paragraphs were high, medium and low. The results concluded statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of the academic department in favor of the nursing department. The study did not highlight any statistically significant differences pursuant to the variable of the academic level or college.
