This study aimed to evaluate the “University Study Skills” course and its teaching at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University from the perspective of female students. The research employed a descriptive survey method, with a questionnaire as its primary tool. The study sample consisted of 307 female students from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. The findings revealed that the evaluation of the “University Study Skills” course and its teaching was perceived as highly appropriate from the students’ perspectives. This included the course objectives and learning outcomes, content, educational activities, assessment methods, and visual presentation. The evaluation of the teaching itself was also deemed highly appropriate, encompassing the preparation for teaching the course, the teaching strategies used, and the integration of technology in instruction.
Based on these findings, the researcher recommends the following:
• Taking into account students’ perspectives and focusing on courses that enhance university-level skills.
• Expanding the implementation of the “University Study Skills” course.
• Making the “University Study Skills” course mandatory rather than optional.
