The current study aimed at verifying the effectiveness of a program based on the experiential learning in improving strategic thinking and academic self-efficacy of the Faculty of Education students in STEM program. The participants of the study included 21 third year STEM students at the Faculty of Education. The researcher used a strategic thinking-illustrated scale, a scale for academic self-efficacy, and a program based on the experiential learning instruction. The findings of the post- and follow-up measurements supported the effectiveness of the program based on the experiential learning theory in improving strategic thinking and self-efficacy of the Faculty of Education students in STEM program in the experimental group. The results were interpreted in light of the theoretical framework and literature review; thus, a number of recommendations were offered for improving strategic thinking and academic self-efficacy of university students.
