The current study, as a comparative cultural study, aimed to reveal the relationship between spiritual intelligence and the level of emotional preparation among students at Taif University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and students at Shendi University in the Republic of Sudan. It also aimed to know the extent of the availability of spiritual intelligence among students of the Faculty of Arts at Taif and Shendi Universities, and to know the extent of the availability of emotional preparation among students of the Faculty of Arts at Taif and Shendi Universities, and to know whether there is a statistically significant correlation between the level of spiritual intelligence and the level of emotional preparation among students of the Faculty of Arts at Taif and Shendi Universities, as well as to know whether there are statistically significant differences between students of Taif and Shendi Universities, Faculty of Arts, in spiritual intelligence attributed to the variables (gender, university). It also aimed to reveal the extent of the existence of statistically significant differences between students of Taif and Shendi Universities, Faculty of Arts, in emotional preparation attributed to the variables (gender, university), in addition to knowing the possibility of predicting emotional preparation through the variable of spiritual intelligence in the study sample. The applied approach in the study was the descriptive correlational approach. The researcher also developed the spiritual intelligence tool to be valid in the Saudi and Sudanese environments. He also developed the emotional preparation scale. The study sample consisted of (175) male and female students from the Faculty of Arts at the Universities of Taif and Shendi. The sample included (87) male and female students from Taif University, and (88) male and female students from Shendi University. The number of males was (81) students, and the number of females was (94) students. The study concluded that the degree of availability of spiritual intelligence in the study sample was high at a percentage of (84.56%), and the degree of availability of emotional preparation in the study sample was also high at a percentage of (78.94%). The study also revealed the existence of a statistically significant direct correlation at the level of (0.01) between spiritual intelligence and emotional preparation. While there are no statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) in the spiritual intelligence scale of the study sample due to the gender variable, statistically significant differences were found at the level (α≤0.05) in the spiritual intelligence scale of the study sample due to the university variable in favor of Shendi University (Sudan). It also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level (α≤0.05) in the emotional preparation scale of the study sample due to the gender variable. While statistically significant differences were found at the level (α≤0.05) in the emotional preparation scale of the study sample due to the university variable in favor of Shendi University (Sudan). It was also possible to predict performance on the emotional preparation scale through the spiritual intelligence variable.
