This study aimed to identify effect of using E-learning platforms in Arabic course on developing self-learning skills among intermediate school students at Riyadh. It used the analytical descriptive and semi-experimental one-group approach to identify the effect of using platforms on self-learning skills. Sample consisted of (34) students from the third intermediate grade. Self-learning skills survey tool was used which is included (4) main skills: organizing, controlling, using learning resources, and self-evaluation. The study concluded that there is a positive impact of learning through platforms on developing self-learning skills by verifying differences between average scores of students in the pre- and post-application, and it recommended expanding the use of E-learning platforms in educational institutions, and organizing training courses for workers in them and raising their competencies in using these platforms.
