This research focuses on studying the poetic imagery transformation in the of Poetry of protest, the study started with a brief ancient and recent definition for the concept of the poetic imagery, hence study of meaning transformation through the poetic imagery from recent rhetoric point of view labeled as an exchange process between rhetoric. As well as the relationship between thoughts that reveal the link between the rhetoric of protest and anti-rhetorical. Also, the rhetorical function of meaning will be showed in this study. in formation of his recent poetic rhetoric the animistic poet used Poetry Imagery as a cognitive formation for conveying traditions and thoughts of rhetoric heritage. And dominate his special language which bears signs or marks that he formed by his vision which basically formed in his mind with a collection of thoughts impressions, with the exchanged connection with the reference rhetoric that lead to production and generation of a specific nontraditional meanings having a historical and thoughtful value. The rhetoric imagery according to the new rhetorical conception divided as follow: the referral imagery, neighboring imagery, relative imagery, Symbolic imagery, variant imagery, argumentative and circulative imagery, follow these category poetic imagery functional units and the most important results and recommendations
