Every nation has a civilization and culture, and language is the one that transmits these civilizations and cultures across generations, and it is a way for a person to express his opinions, ideas and feelings, and through it he acquires knowledge, skills and various behavioral patterns.
Language has four arts, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing, the first being listening, which is the first of the senses in man, and the basis for his linguistic development, hence the importance of listening comprehension. Because it is his first and most important language acquisition skills, studies have shown that there is a positive relationship between developing listening comprehension skills and developing the rest of the language skills. The learner's mastery of the listening comprehension skills makes him think about what he listened to and speak in a sound and conscious language, read analytical, critical and creative reading, and write proper and logical writing.
