The study aimed to reach a set of main requirements to activate the role of colleges of education in supporting the educational policy of pre university education, by identifying the reasons for the colleges of education to play a role in supporting educational policy, and also by studying the experiences of some countries in supporting colleges of education for educational policy. According to the nature of the current study and to achieve its objectives, the study relied on the "descriptive approach". The study also used a questionnaire to reveal the reality of the role of the faculties of education in supporting the educational policy and the requirements for activating this role. After that, the study chose a representative random sample of this community, which consisted of (301) individuals. The study found the weak contribution of the faculties of education in making and supporting the educational policy, which required activating that role through a set of requirements and mechanisms that were presented to a group of educational experts in order to reach a proposed vision for the role of the faculties of education in supporting the educational policy in Egypt.
