This study aimed to build a program based on the monitoring strategy in treating reading difficulties for a sample of primary school students, used the experimental method and the study sample consisted of 18 students, 9 for the experimental group, 9 for the control group(Adel Abdullah, 2009), a note card for reading difficulties (prepared by the researcher), the remedial program (prepared by the researcher), the most important results of the study resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the post-test of the dyslexia scale and the reading difficulties observation card on the total score and dimensions between members of the experimental group and members of the control group in the direction of the experimental group, and there were no statistically significant differences between Average ranks of the scores of the experimental group members "in the dyslexia scale and reading difficulties observation card" total score and dimensions" between post and follow up.
