Pictorial Creativity in Lisan al-Din Ibn al-Khatib's Muwashahat

This research is concerned with an artistic study of an aspect of poetic creativity represented in the pictorial creativity in the art of Andalusian muwashahat. And we chose the Granadaan era as the last era of the Arabs in Andalusia, where the muwashshahs reached their highest development. From the Granadan era, we chose Lisan al-Din Ibn al-Khatib al-Salmani because he was the largest and most famous of the poets at that age, when he lived in the eighth century AH. We sought to study the pictorial creativity in his muwashahat that was included in his collection in addition to some of the muwashahat included in other literary sources, besides the collection of muwashahat in which its author collected most of these muwashahat. We have paved the way for studying the poetic image in general, then we studied the conceptual creativity of Lisan al-Din Ibn al-Khatib, represented by his artistic image. We looked in depth at what each picture included by analyzing it, as the patterns of the picture varied in his muwashahat, hoping to contribute to illuminating the poetic images he drew in his creative muwashahat.
