Morin believes that the deep problems plaguing contemporary Western societies cannot find effective and authentic solutions to these various crises without seriously reconsidering the reform of thought. His works and that the sciences that he began to develop led, after centuries of hard work, to our atomic age, which changed the course of history, but the development of sciences would not happen if philosophy did not precede and direct politics. This is because we cannot separate the history of political development from philosophical development, as there is a creative, dialectical interaction between them.
