Abstract

The current study aimed to prepare a counseling program and verify its effectiveness in developing the assertive behavior of the hearing-impaired primary students of Al-Marhaba. In the counseling program (prepared by the researcher), the measure of self- assertive (prepared by: Gharib Abdel-Fattah Gharib, 1995), which resulted in the students of the experimental group in the post-measurement of self-assertive having a high average score compared to their average score in the tribal measurement with a statistically significant difference at the level of 0.01 , the value of the Eta-square of self-assertive as a whole for the students of the experimental group was (0.905), which means that (90.5%) of the improvement in self-assertive among the students of the experimental group can be explained in light of the use of the indicative program
