The Effectiveness of a Program Based on the Emotional Intelligence to Reduce the Burnout among a sample of special Education Teachers

Abstract

 
       The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a program based on the emotional Intelligence and the continuity of the program effectiveness to reduce the burnout among a sample of special education teachers. The study sample consisted of (14) female teachers whose ages ranged from (40-51) and teaching experience ranged between (10-19) years, and they were divided into two equal groups: a control group (7)female teachers and an experimental group (7)female teachers  . The study tools included the burnout scale of Sayed Ahmed Al-Bahas (2006), a questionnaire (prepared by the researcher), and the program (prepared by the researcher). The study results showed the effectiveness of the program based on the emotional intelligence to reduce the burnout among a sample of special education teachers, and the continuation of the program's effectiveness after the end of the training.
