The study aimed to measure the reality of the administrative performance of leaders in the educational administrations in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate, and to know the reality of administrative performance, and to reveal the problems and challenges facing the leaders in the educational administrations ,and to identify and enhance strengths, and areas of weakness and their treatment, and then try to develop this performance. The study also dealt with analyzing the concept of administrative performance. Then a proposed vision was developed to develop the administrative performance of leaders in educational departments, and the study used the descriptive analytical approach. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (60) items was built and divided into eight dimensions (administrative leadership, planning and organization, professional development, decision-making, human relations, information and communication technology, delegation, administrative empowerment), and the questionnaire was applied to a random stratified sample. From the directors of educational stages, heads of departments, employees of educational administrations, some school principals and their agents, and some teachers in some educational departments in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, where (41) schools were selected out of (390) schools, with a percentage of not less than 10% of the total of three schools. Educational administrations in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and the study concluded with a set of results, the most important and most prominent of which is that the degree of responses of the study sample members to the dimensions of the questionnaire as a whole was achieved to a medium degree for all dimensions, despite what may exist from a slight discrepancy between them, where the relative weight of the total terms of the different dimensions ranged in the questionnaire between (1.65) and (1.78), and the verification rate on the questionnaire was 57.07%.
