The current study aimed to identify the obstacles to the application of electronic gamification activities in middle school education in the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah from the point of view of female teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study sample consisted of (330) middle school teachers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and the researcher designed a questionnaire as a tool for the study, and the questionnaire consisted of (20) items, distributed on three main dimensions represented in the first dimension, administrative obstacles, and it includes (6) items, and the second dimension, teacher-related obstacles, and it includes (9) items, and the third dimension, curricula-related obstacles, and includes (5) Paragraphs. The results of the study indicated that the level of obstacles to the application of electronic gamification activities in middle school education in the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah was high, from the point of view of female teachers, and the administrative obstacles came in the first place, in the second place the obstacles related to the curriculum, and in the last rank the obstacles related to the teacher, the results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 ≥ α) in the level of obstacles to the application of electronic gamification activities in middle school education in Makkah Al-Mukarramah from the female teachers’ point of view due to the variable years of experience and educational qualification, based on the nature of the results, the researcher recommended that those in charge of the education departments overcome the administrative obstacles that limit the application of electronic gamification activities, by providing appropriate technological environments for the implementation of these activities, and carrying out some training and qualification courses for male and female teachers in intermediate schools to develop their skills in applying electronic gamification activities.
