The extent of the impact of educational building specifications on the quality of teaching the mathematics curriculum from the point of view of mathematics teachers in the Hail region

Abstract

The aim of the current study is to identify the reality of the practice of social responsibility among faculty members at the college of basic education in Kuwait, and its relations with some variables such as gender and academic rank. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire of (35) items was developed by the researcher, and distributed to a random sample of (105) faculty members at the college of basic education.
     Results showed that the degree of practicing social responsibility among faculty members was high in all domains and in the total score, and the domains of social responsibility toward students and college both came first, while the domain of social responsibility toward society came at the third place.
     In addition, the study found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) in the degree of practicing social responsibility among the faculty members that can be attributed to gender. Moreover, the study found that no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) in practicing social responsibility toward students that can be attributed to academic rank, while there were statistically significant differences in practicing social responsibility toward the college and the society that can be attributed to academic rank between professor and associate professor, and in favour of professor.
