This research aims to identify the impact of integration programs on the development of social skills for students with intellectual disabilities in Asir. The research also aims to identify the challenges and obstacles they face in the field. The research was conducted on a sample of four female teachers specialized in educating students with intellectual disabilities in the Assir region, who were deliberately selected from the research community. To achieve the objectives of the research, the qualitative approach was used based on open-ended interviews. The results showed the clear positive impact of integration programmes on the development of social and other skills of female students with intellectual disabilities, as well as some of the challenges and obstacles facing female teachers in the field that hinder successful integration, and participants also suggested some solutions to improve and enhance the effectiveness of integration programmes from their experience.
