The current study examines the role of Saudi women in Saudi society and culture, with a focus on Vision 2030. The social survey method was used to gather opinions from faculty members at King Saud University in Riyadh, with a total of 391 participants. The main problem addressed in the study was to identify the role of Saudi women in this context, and it branched out into sub-questions, such as the role of women in humanitarian missions, civil society institutions, and the military sector, as well as their cultural role in educational leadership, cultural organizations, and the preservation of national heritage. The study also addressed the challenges facing Saudi women in enhancing their social and cultural roles and proposed several recommendations to strengthen the role of women, such as increasing their participation in the military sector and providing training opportunities, enhancing support in cultural and educational fields, and improving their portrayal in educational curricula. The results showed that 20.7% of the sample worked in the College of Education, with 34% of them being lecturers. Furthermore, 48.1% had been working for at least ten years, and 58.6% were married with children. The sample expressed strong support for the role of women in Vision 2030, whether in the military sector, educational leadership, participation in civil society, cultural organizations, or the preservation of national heritage. Based on these results, the study recommended increasing women's participation in the military sector and providing training opportunities. It also suggested supporting women in civil society areas and enhancing their cultural and social roles. Additionally, improving the portrayal of women in educational curricula and incorporating examples of female leaders in Saudi history were recommended. The study also proposed conducting further research to delve into the cultural role of women and its impact on Saudi society, as well as analyzing the impact of female educational leadership on the quality of education.
