The role of organizational empowerment in achieving competitiveness among female principals of public education schools in Jeddah (a proposed scenario)

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of organizational empowerment in achieving competitiveness among female principals of public education schools in Jeddah, as well as revealing differences between the opinions of the study sample members according to the variables of academic qualification and administrative experience. A proposed vision was developed for the role of organizational empowerment in achieving competitiveness among female principals of general education schools in Jeddah. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population consisted of all female principals of general education schools in the city of Jeddah, numbering (500) principals. A sample was selected from the study population, and it amounted to the sample size was (217) female managers, and the study used a questionnaire to collect data. The results of the study concluded:
- The role of organizational empowerment in achieving competitiveness among female principals of public education schools in Jeddah in each of the areas of (delegation, participation, and independence) came to a moderate degree.
- The level of competitiveness among female principals of public education schools in Jeddah was moderate.
- -There are differences in the answers of the study sample regarding the role of organizational empowerment in achieving competitiveness in public education schools due to the variables of academic qualification and administrative experience and for all dimensions.
-The results showed that the differences in the study sample’s answers to the dimension of delegation and participation were in favor of the master’s category, while the differences in the independence dimension were in favor of the “doctor” category
Finally, the researcher developed a proposed vision for the role of organizational empowerment in achieving competitiveness among female principals of public education schools in Jeddah.
