This research deals with: Issues of abrogation in the interpretation of Ibn Attiyah (the brief editor in the interpretation of the Noble Book), where Ibn Attiya touched on many issues of abrogation, expanded on them, and referred to many rulings on abrogation. The research aims to introduce Ibn Attiyah and explain the scientific value of his interpretation. Tagged with the brief editor in the interpretation of the Mighty Book, an explanation of the issues of abrogation in the brief editor, and an explanation of the forms of abrogation in the brief editor. To achieve this, the research dealt with the life of Ibn Attiya, the scientific value of his interpretation, and the issues of abrogation in his interpretation, such as the definition of abrogation, its proof, the establishment of its ruling, its forms, and its types. The research reached a number of results, the most prominent of which are: There are four forms of abrogation, which are: abrogation of heavier to lighter, abrogation of lighter to heavier, abrogation of like for like, and abrogation without replacement, with his mentioning of examples that illustrate this. Ibn Attiya believes that the rule of abrogation is not proven. Except after notifying the taxpayer; Whoever the abrogator does not reach him is worshiped by the first ruling.
