The study aimed to provide proposals to enhance the performance of school principals in Riyadh City through the lens of soft skills, based on the perspectives of school administration supervisors. It sought to examine the current performance of school principals in Riyadh concerning soft skills and the challenges hindering their development. A descriptive survey methodology was employed, utilizing a questionnaire distributed to all school supervisors across Riyadh's education offices during the academic year 1444/1445 AH.
The study revealed several findings, including that the current performance of school principals in terms of soft skills is at a high level, with an overall mean score of 3.52 out of 5. The challenges hindering performance development were also rated highly, with a mean score of 3.77, while the proposed solutions received a mean score of 3.86, indicating a high level of agreement. Key recommendations for enhancing principals' performance in soft skills included supporting educational departments in providing appropriate training and equipping principals with constructive feedback from their supervisors.
