Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the administrative and academic problems facing female faculty members at Tabuk University, from their point of view, and to reveal significant differences between the average responses of female faculty members at Tabuk University, which are attributed to the difference in university variables (academic degree, number of years of experience). The study used the descriptive approach and applied a questionnaire to a sample of (150) female faculty members. The study reached several results, the most important of which was that the general average for the axes was questionnaire (3.77) with a standard deviation of (0.41) and an approval rate of (75.49%), indicating that the questionnaire as a whole reveals problems that require institutional attention, with a "high" approval rate. "Problems related to scientific research and job enrichment" came in first place, followed by "problems related to administrative practices at the college" in second place. "Problems related to the quality of work life and the work environment" came in third place. While "problems related to the educational process and students" came in last place, and as for the differences between the responses of the study sample members according to the variable (academic degree): statistically significant differences appear only in the first axis (administrative practices), while the rest of the axes did not show statistically significant differences, as for the differences between the responses of the study sample members according to the variable (years of experience): there are statistically significant differences between the sample responses according to years of experience in the axes (problems related to scientific research and job enrichment), and (problems related to the quality of work life and the work environment), and the study came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is building a system for job enrichment for faculty members that is motivating in itself, which members accept out of a desire to improve and develop, and in which they find help in overcoming the problems they encounter in the work environment.
