The research aimed to address social empowerment initiatives for Saudi women in light of Vision 2030. To achieve this goal, a descriptive approach was used. The research included a general framework and four axes. The first axis focused on the features of the developmental role of Saudi women in social institutions. The second axis presented the dimensions of social empowerment to achieve the developmental role of Saudi women in social institutions. The third axis addressed the challenges of social empowerment to achieve the developmental role of Saudi women in social institutions. The fourth axis identified the most prominent social empowerment initiatives to achieve the developmental role of women in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The most prominent findings of the research were as follows: There are many social empowerment initiatives for women in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, including: Initiatives in the field of work, initiatives in the field of education, initiatives in the social and family spheres. Saudi women play a developmental role in healthcare institutions by contributing to the improvement and development of the healthcare sector through their various roles, whether as healthcare providers, administrators, or scientific researchers contributing to the development of medical services, or participating in raising health awareness in society and improving the quality of healthcare services. Saudi women play a developmental role in economic institutions by contributing to driving economic development through their active participation in various fields of work, such as the industrial and military industries sector, the oil and mining sector, and their participation in the localization of national industries. Saudi women play a developmental role in educational institutions through their contributions to enhancing the quality of education, developing the educational environment, and participating in building an informed and qualified generation. They support women in obtaining a good education, raising awareness of the importance of education, participating in literacy programs, and participating in training and programs that qualify them for the labor market.
