The goal of the research is to set a 'proposal to apply mechanisms to apply the criteria of the green school (green administration, the green school environment, and school activities) in public education schools in the Asir region, and the research used the descriptive curriculum, and the questionnaire as a tool for research that was applied on a sample of (714) members in education schools in the Asir region; The research reached several results, including: the approval of the research sample with the degree of (large) approval on the mechanisms of applying the criteria of the green school (green administration, green school environment, and school activities) in public education schools in the Asir region, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the research sample responses on the mechanisms of applying the green school standards (green administration, the green school environment, and school activities) in education schools) The year in the Asir region is due to the variables (the current job, the educational stage, and the years of experience.
The research reached a number of recommendations, including: holding courses and training workshops specialized in the field of managing green schools and their implementation of them, conducting applied scientific research to support their sustainability, issuing the necessary legislation to prepare educational environmental in schools to facilitate the process of applying green school standards in public education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and forming committees at the level of educational administration whose task is to study the reality of applying the standards of green schools in schools General education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, writing reports and submitting them to the higher authorities, preparing evidence, bulletins, conferences and seminars to spread the culture of green school standards in public education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
