The research aims to extrapolate the SWOT analysis methodology from an Islamic perspective, as one of the most prominent methods of strategic planning. By presenting examples from the Prophet's biography as a source of methodology for all aspects of life, the research initially addressed the concept of SWOT analysis, then presented educational applications for using this methodology. It was presented to parents in their leadership of the family and raising children according to this methodology, with the aim of producing a generation capable of strategic planning. The fundamentalist approach, with its two aspects—induction and deduction—was used by deducing situations from the Prophet's biography that indicated the use of the SWOT analysis methodology and then analyzing those situations to form a comprehensive picture of the elements of SWOT analysis. In addition, the descriptive approach was used to present educational applications of this methodology within the family. The results revealed that the SWOT analysis methodology is one of the skills of a successful leader in strategic planning, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was characterized by in establishing and leading the first Islamic state. Strategic planning must rely on analyzing internal components to understand strengths and weaknesses, in addition to analyzing the external environment to capitalize on opportunities in confronting threats. Applying the SWOT analysis methodology in family leadership and raising children with its skills is the path to quality family life and producing a generation with seasoned leadership skills.
