Abstract
The purpose of the current study is to learn about the role of early childhood school principals in developing the performance of teachers in Riyadh from the teachers' point of view, and to learn about the challenges faced by the principals of early childhood schools in developing the performance of teachers in Riyadh from the point of view of the teachers, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive descriptive method was used, and the questionnaire was applied to a simple random sample of 300 early childhood teachers in the schools. Government in the Department of Education of the Riyadh region, and the results of the study reached that the general average of teachers' evaluations of early childhood school principals in the development of their performance, which indicates the extent of average applicability in general, and the difference in the levels of appreciation across different dimensions, where the administrative and organizational dimension came in the first place with an arithmetic, and a high applicability dimension, while the technical and technological dimension came In the fifth and last place, and a moderate level of compliance, the study also found that the general average of the challenges faced by the principals of early childhood schools in the development of teachers' performance in the city, which indicates a moderate level of challenge in general. The results showed that all dimensions of the challenges faced by the directors of early childhood schools were "moderate", as the arithmetic . The educational and spiritual aspect came in the first place ,while the professional and educational aspect came in the sixth and last order. The study recommended the importance of early childhood school principals possessing a set of technical and technological skills that enable them to carry out their work tasks efficiently in managing early childhood schools.
