The current study aimed to prepare a situational test scale to measure the decision-making skills of gifted secondary school students, as well as the psychometric properties of the scale with the aim of analyzing decision-making skills. The scale is based, and the study was conducted on a sample of (40) academically gifted students in the first and second year of secondary school at Gamal Abdel Nasser Secondary School, in the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. The researcher calculated the validity of the decision-making scale using the validity of the arbitrators and the content validity of Lawshe Content Validity. Ratio (CVR), with the aim of ensuring its validity and validity for measuring decision-making skills. The results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the scale’s (25) items are saturated with five skills, which are (the skill of understanding and defining the problem, the skill of collecting and analyzing data, and the skill of identifying available alternatives). And its evaluation, the skill of choosing the appropriate alternative, and the skill of decision-making). The reliability and internal consistency of the scale were also high.
